Totally Geeking Out About Law and Order (Crimnal Intent and SVU)

I thought my biggest heartbreak this week was the series finale of one of my favorite TV series Law and Order Criminal Intent. Oh was I wrong, this week served me a double dose of sorrow with the news that Law and Order SVU veteran Christopher Meloni aka Detective Stabler was leaving the show (tear). Lets start with the first agonizing situation, saying
Goodbye to Law and Order CI.

Cerebral, Dark and Suspenseful are the best words to describe such a thought provoking series that reminded me of a modern day Sherlock Holmes with its intellectual plot twist, or Columbo in the way the suspects of every case seem to think they could out-smart the very quirky Det. Robert Goren(Vincent D'Onofrio) or his partner Det. Alexandra Eames (Kathryn Erbe). For the past ten years, the NYPD's Major Case Squad tackled the city's numerous homicides with only enough information to keep you informed, without giving it all away. The Very last episode aired Sunday June 26, called "To the Boy in the Blue Knit Cap",I will not spoil the ending for all who have it TiVo-ed, but with my excitement for the last show i have to say i was disappointed and a little appeased at the same time. Lets just say it was a bit of a teaser lol. This show will be missed and the past seasons will be a part of my DVD collection when ever there's nothing "good" on TV.

Goodbye Detective Stabler
Detective Stabler AKA Christopher Meloni

Unknown to me, Christopher Meloni  recently left "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" after 12 seasons on the hit show following unsuccessful deal negotiations in May. Obviously his character can not just be recast so it will be very interesting to see how the writers and Mr. Dick Wolf  write in replacement detectives Danny Pino(Cold Case) and Kelli Giddish(Chase) who were confirmed to be added to the series as regulars for the new season,NBC announced Monday.
Stabler's partner Det. Olivia Benson. (Mariska Hargitay) wont be leaving the show but her role will be scaled back after her "promotion" to a supervisory position half-way season 13(about time lol). There were rumors of Jennifer Love Hewitt to replace her but those were found to be just rumors Although I do find it funny how the Law and Order franchise "recycles" cast members like the ADA Casey Novak(Diane Neal, Seasons 5-9), well in a episode called "Ridicule"(season 3 episode 10) Her character was named Amila Chase, and she was a suspect  lol.
All in all I will still be totally geeking out about this show as long as it is on the air.

WTF, OMG A Law and Order I didn't know about???
While I was searching though my Netflix suggestions I came across this, Law and order: UK. Although I haven't seen it yet, I cant wait  :) !!!

Thanks for Totally Geeking Out with me!!!

Can I get a binky for baby Bron Bron?

Even though I was rooting for the Chicago Bulls this NBA season,

This week I am Totally Geeking Out over
             The Dallas Mavericks

The final game of the NBA season did not disappoint when it came to providing excitement, drama, and key clutch moments that proved the Dallas Mavericks to be the 2011 Champions.

Although there were defiantly a lot of lay ups, 3 pointers, and a few dunks that were phenomenal, my thirst for drama leads me to note the “skirmish” at half court Sunday night during the second quarter.

Mavs guard DeShawn Stevenson got into a small pushing match with Udonis Haslem of the Miami Heat. Now we all know these things happen in NBA games all the time, but someone told Heat guard Mario Chalmers different, because he got into the altercation for no apparent reason, as he ran to push DeShawn Stevenson from behind.
Watch the video and see for you self. (SN: thank you nbavideosnow for uploading so quickly, you rock!)

Once Chalmers entered in to the mix, both benches jumped from their seats an proceeded to the floor. Luckily some calmer players and officials split up the brawlers before any real damage was done.

SO if your like me, you might be wondering what will the punishment be for the parties involved. well according to the official NBA rule book, because it happened during a time out and not during game play like other infamous NBA brawls, there will be no suspensions because players are allowed to come off the bench during a timeout.

The Miami Heat did pick up 2 Technical Fouls and The Mavs Picked up 1 sending the finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki to the foul line to pick up his only shot for that half of the game, but not due to a lack of trying since he missed 11 shots during the first half. When asked what happened he stated  "couldn't find my groove, but my team carried me",
It was a exciting series but what i enjoyed the most ( Warning to Lebron James, D. Wade, and Heat fans...this might be hard to hear) is watching Lebron and wade who were so flashy and conceited get their just deserts and a face full of humble pie. Eat up : D

Looking for Mavs Gear, Here is a few....
